Creativity and New Media

Today I would like to share my experience that took place last spring. I was a part of the 2019 CUNY-IBM Watson Social Impact Challenge. It was a semester-long project and it required to come up with a social problem for NYC that could be solved using IBM Watson. My team had 3 members and we worked really hard to come up with an effective solution. The essential part of our project was the usage of New Media in order to find the best and quickest ways of problem-solving. This project required a lot of knowledge, persistence, and creativity. Modeling Reality with Virtual Worlds

Virtual Worlds...sounds very intriguing. It evokes our imagination and curiosity. But what is it? The virtual world is a computer-based environment that can be managed by an individual. There are so many ways virtual reality can be used! A person can explore any countries/cities/places, or experience activities such as swimming or riding the camel while physically not able to do so, also, it is possible to mentally adjust for something unknown such as flying to the Moon, or it is an advanced way to learn. Wiki So Far

Working on Wiki seems easier than it actually is. It took a while for me to understand how to navigate and edit or add dome information. I did not create any new pages. However, I spent time reading the content that already existed and thinking about my contribution. I noticed minor grammar mistakes and edited it. I added more information to Pinterest (Fashion) and Fingerlings (New Media In Toys). Also. I am planning to add more content to Fashion especially to the Makeup section. Also, I did not add any images yet, so in the next couple of days, I am going to work much more on Wiki.
