The Future of Old Media


The topic that caught my attention is called The Future of Old Media. I would like to do some research on this and try to understand if there is actually the future for old media since people are really involved with new technology and new media these days. First of all, I will briefly explain what old media is. Also, I am planning to distinguish the new media from the old one and find the advantages and disadvantages of the old media. I guess that understanding of strengths and weaknesses of it will help me to come up with a better conclusion. In addition to that I need to realize the target audience and how loyal are they to the old media. It looks like during my little research I will find much more interesting information that I will be adding to my project.

How much time do we spend while watching/reading the news? Probably more than 30 - 40 minutes daily! Some people spend hours! Can you imagine how awesome it would be if we have the option to absorb the news we are interested in within the seconds?! This new media will be arranging all news into the set of codes. Wiki So Far

Working on Wiki seems easier than it actually is. It took a while for me to understand how to navigate and edit or add dome information. I did not create any new pages. However, I spent time reading the content that already existed and thinking about my contribution. I noticed minor grammar mistakes and edited it. I added more information to Pinterest (Fashion) and Fingerlings (New Media In Toys). Also. I am planning to add more content to Fashion especially to the Makeup section. Also, I did not add any images yet, so in the next couple of days, I am going to work much more on Wiki.

Modeling Reality with Virtual Worlds

Virtual Worlds...sounds very intriguing. It evokes our imagination and curiosity. But what is it? The virtual world is a computer-based environment that can be managed by an individual. There are so many ways virtual reality can be used! A person can explore any countries/cities/places, or experience activities such as swimming or riding the camel while physically not able to do so, also, it is possible to mentally adjust for something unknown such as flying to the Moon, or it is an advanced way to learn.
